It’s the holidays, and making cookies is part of everyone’s to-do list, so I thought I’d post a photo diary of exactly how to make the PERFECT holiday cookies!
First you take STUFF (also called ingredients)
Then you Mix them all up in a bowl. (I forgot to take a picture of that). Then get someone to roll them into nice balls for you. And then roll them in cinnamon and sugar!
Always test taste your cookies before you bake ’em. Don’t worry, you won’t get food poisoning from the raw eggs (*NOT an actual disclaimer).
Then you must juggle the cookies to ensure that they are evenly balanced. Any cookies that fall on the floor are fair game to be eaten before baking!
Then you place them on a cookie sheet. Oh yeah – don’t forget to preheat the oven to something or other (when in doubt, 375 is the bestest!).
Put the little cookies in the oven. Watch them as they bake – they CRACK! Also – watching them helps prevent burning… which happens FAST, especially when you’re super distractable, like me!
Then take the cookies out to cool….. Check out the cool cracks!
Then stack them nicely on a plate so that you can eat them all yourself so that you can serve them to friends!
And that is how holiday cookies are made!!!
